Cookie Policy

Draft for legal and payment-processor review, prepared 1 October 2026. This is not final legal advice. Anything in square brackets still has to be supplied before publication.

This policy explains how the SETTLED+ website and the SETTLED Adult game may use cookies and similar storage, such as local storage. SETTLED+ is operated by Independent Flooring Validation Ltd, company number 06945319, registered in England and Wales. No analytics or advertising vendor is named here, because none is configured in this draft.

Strictly necessary

Some storage is needed for the site or game to work. That can include keeping a session together, remembering a security check, or remembering that a checkout attempt is in progress once payment exists. The launch-list admin page may set one httpOnly cookie after a valid admin key is entered. It only keeps that private admin session. It is not set for ordinary visitors and it is not a marketing cookie. This storage does not need a marketing consent. Checkout is not connected on this website yet.

Preferences

The website or the game may store a preference on your device, for example that you have dismissed onboarding or a help prompt. That storage is there so we do not show the same prompt every time. It is not a public profile. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Analytics

We have not configured an analytics vendor for this draft. If analytics are added, they should be used to understand how the service is used, and non-essential analytics should run only after any consent the law requires. The vendor, the cookies, and the purpose will be listed here before they are switched on. Do not assume a particular tool is in use.

Marketing

Marketing cookies are not in use on this draft. If they are introduced later, they will be listed here and used only where the appropriate consent has been obtained. There is no advertising network named in this policy.

How to control them

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop a game session or a future checkout from working. A consent control for non-essential cookies will be added if those cookies are introduced. Until then, this marketing site is not described as running analytics or marketing cookies.
