Tester Agreement & Consent

Version tester-terms-v1. SETTLED+ is operated by Independent Flooring Validation Ltd. This is the agreement for people who apply to test SETTLED Adult. It is not a paid subscription and it does not by itself give you access to the game.

Voluntary participation

Applying is voluntary. There is no payment for testing unless we agree that with you separately, in writing. You can stop at any time by emailing tester@settledplus.com. We can end your place, limit the programme, or close it.

Adult content

You confirm that you are 18 or older. SETTLED Adult contains mature relationship themes, sexual questions and adult imagery. Taking part does not require you to undertake any real-world sexual activity.

Consent

In-game answers, matches, preferences or YES responses do not constitute real-world consent to sexual activity. Real-world consent must always be freely given separately and at the time.

Pre-release

SETTLED Adult is not finished. Features may change. Test data may occasionally be reset. Test access may be interrupted. Bugs may occur. There is no guarantee of continuous availability.

If you are selected

Approved testers receive full test access at no charge while the testing programme is active. That is not a permanent free account, and it is not a SETTLED+ subscription. An application does not create access. We review applications first. If you are selected, we contact you at the email address you provided, from tester@settledplus.com.

Feedback

You may send feedback, bug reports and suggestions. SETTLED+ may use them to improve the product. Feedback does not give you ownership of the product or of any part of it.

Testing data

We store the details on your application: first name, email, country, device preference, any reason you wrote, the confirmations and agreement version you accepted, whether you opted into marketing, and the status of the application. If you later report a problem, we may process the technical or device details you include, and game or session information where that is needed to investigate the report. We do not describe this as anonymous, because it includes your email. See the Privacy Policy.

Confidentiality and sharing

Do not publicly redistribute private testing links. Do not deliberately expose another participant’s private responses. Do not copy SETTLED+ content or commercially redistribute it. You may talk privately about your own experience.

Behaviour

Do not use the test illegally. Do not harass anyone or use it abusively. Do not try to access another tester’s private data, and do not try to bypass access controls.

Marketing

Tester participation does not depend on marketing. The marketing checkbox is optional and is stored separately. You can apply and take part if you leave it unticked.
